Merchandise eligible for return must be unused, unworn, and in good condition with original hangtags and packaging attached. All original packaging must be intact.
Final sale merchandise includes merchandise discounted by 50% or more before promo codes are calculated. We accept returns of products purchased online and shipped within the United States and Canada only. Items purchased through any of our physical shops or wholesale partners must be returned to the place of purchase. Items purchased on Katespade.com may be returned or exchanged at a Kate Spade New York retail shop. Orders shipped to Canada may not be returned to retail shops in the United States.
Kate Spade New York by Lenox Items may only be returned to our online store. These items may not be returned to our Kate Spade New York retail shops. Unworn swimwear may only be returned with original hangtags attached and with original liner intact. Lighting is considered final sale and cannot be returned. We carefully inspect each lighting item prior to shipment. Legwear removed from the packaging, as well as fragrance rollerballs, are final sale only and cannot be returned online or in our retail shops.

We accept returns of unused, unworn products with original hangtags and packaging attached. Returning eligible items is easy.
Complete the returns section of the original packing slip. If you are returning a gift, include your email address in the returns area of the gift packing slip.
Pack your items
Pack them securely, in the original package if possible. Keep the non-returns portion of the packing slip for your records.
Ship it back

You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of us receiving your returned product. If you are returning an item that was shipped to you as a gift with a gift packing slip (you’ll be able to tell by it having encoded prices), you may choose to receive an e-gift card containing your refunded amount. Note: we do not accept c.o.d. Deliveries or exchanges.
In the case of items damaged during shipment, please immediately contact our customer care department at 866-999-5283. We will work with you to replace your item as fast as we can. If we are able to locate a replacement, we will send it to you at no charge to you, and will ask you to return the damaged/defective item to us using our free return service.
Price adjustments will be honored within 7 days of the original purchase date and will be refunded in the original form of payment.
Upon request, Katespade.com prices will be honored in store to receive a price adjustment, call us at 866-999-5283 or visit a Kate Spade New York retail shop near you with your original packing slip.
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 5-10 business days of our receiving your returned product.
Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax. Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable unless the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.
Gifting charges are non-refundable.
Gift cards and e-gift cards will be refunded as first method of payment on all refunds where the order involved use of gift card or e-gift card.
If you are returning an item that was shipped to you as a gift with a gift packing slip (you’ll be able to tell by it having encoded prices), you may choose to receive an e-gift card containing your refunded amount.
We are unable to offer refunds in-store for orders paid through Klarna. For refunds on these orders, full-priced and sale-priced items must be returned to Kate Spade New York's distribution facility within 30 days of purchase (see below for shipping address). Returns are not accepted for surprise sale purchases as they are final sale.
Once Kate Spade New York has received the return (partial or full) and you have received our confirmation of this, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna if you’ve made a partial return. with a full return, Klarna shall refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments. You are always able to monitor the status of your order in the Klarna app.
