The moment I laid eyes on the Starlight Brocade Dress, I was smitten. It was love at first sight. When I tried the dress on, it was like a second skin and felt like it was made especially for me. The midnight blue colour and the cascade of gold stars combine to make this a truly unique and rich dress. The tailoring of the dress is perfection and oh so flattering, with a fitted bodice and full skirt that skims mid-calf. Best of all, there are two discreet pockets--I always appreciate pockets. My usual size is a 2, and this dress is true to size. I feel like a princess in this dress. I have nothing negative to say about this dress. It is simply dazzling, and I highly recommend it.

I liked the dress online, but it turned out to be like a fashion mullet in person: party on the bottom, boring on the top. The top part is square, not fitted, and not flattering. For now, I have added clips to rouche the shoulders because that gives the top body a bit more shape, but I am trying to figure out a permanent solution. The bottom is a dream. I like the bottom enough to not return it and instead figure out how to bring parity between the two sides. Sizing: I am usually a size 8 in loose bottom dresses (5-4, 150 lbs, 34-30-40) so I purchased the size 8. I find it runs about half a size too large.

So beautiful in person but sadly I have not worn it yet because the zipper was broken. Got here on a Thursday opened it Friday and I was sad to see that I won't be able to wear it until I get it fixed because it's final sale I can't return it. I hope if and when you buy this dress, your dress isn't defective like mine was because this is a beautiful dress and the colors are not loud.
