Jacquards are part of our heritage almost as much as nylon. They're unique fabrics: highly-textured, with patterns that are woven, instead of printed. For this collection we wanted to do something totally new with our signature spade flower pattern. We looked to Limonta, a centuries-old, family-owned textile mill in northern Italy near Como. They’ve been producing and experimenting with jacquards for over 100 years, and are one of the world’s most renowned mills. Together we've made something special. Here, we've used our new spade flower jacquard (topped with stripes, another element reimagined from our archives) on our Sam convertible shoulder bag--a versatile two-way staple.

First off let me just say.... love the style, i've bought two other bags in the smaller off the shoulder style and absolutely in love.
The bag itself is pretty spacious and has two side pockets inside. Came with the strap and even included a bag for the bag to stay clean. The color itself is a little darker than what I expected however better for me because i'm always scared i'll get my bags dirty lol. Overall the size and look is prefect!

cute and fun
I finally got one of the jacquard patterned bags- and it is lovely. I enjoy the interest of the stripes to add a pop of colour and break up the flowers. Happy with my purchase :)

Love It!!
The thing that attracted me the most was the black and pink combination of the bag. It is also my first purchase at Kate Spade and I totally love it. In addition it is convenient; fits basic items: wallet, phone and a pair of goggles comfortably. The handle drop is also appropriate and the handbag sits comfortably under the shoulder. Other than the office I carry it along everywhere.

Great purse
I have been loving this fabric but wasn't crazy with the style of purses I saw on line. Went to Kate Spade store and the lady helping me told me that they had another style with the fabric and brought it out. Have been using it since I got it! It is small but still can fit a lot into the purse. Very well made! I also bought the wallet!!
If I could ask one thing would be to have a pocket put on the outside for a cell phone would be fabulous.
