I bought these booties because I bought the matching dress. I am size 8 on shoes and bought an 8 it's nice and comfortable but if I wanted to were it with a heavy socks, I would have preferred 8.5.

These boots are visually lovely. However, the size inconsistencies are a problem. I usually wear a Kate Spade 9 but I purchased a 9.5 to wear with socks. The length was too short even with tights so I returned them and purchased a 10. The size 10 were more than one inch too long. A second return was very disappointing. This is a hazard of shopping online for Kate Spade shoes. I kept the matching coat, sneakers, dress , and scarf.
