This really does pop! I knew I was getting the Make it Pop teapot, so I had to have the red n pink teacup as well. I bought the cup for its design, but it's also quite nice to use. I would never put a good teacup in the dishwasher, but it's always nice to know that I could. My teacup arrived in perfect condition and ahead of schedule. --Although the teapot was a gift, so I didn't buy it, I want to add that the combination is super cheerful and I'm happy with both pieces.
