I was really pleasantly surprised with this bag when it arrived. It was better than I expected, and I think that was mostly becuase I just couldn't get that much information from the product details and the few reviews already here. This bag is "large" (I am not a "clutch" or fanny pack type girl), which I think makes it so you can feel confident you can have all your "things" for a day out without worrying or having to forego some things in place of others. E.g., not being able to bring a water bottle, umbrella, or sunglasses because the bag is too small. This is not a computer bag, but I do think it would function well for work, outside of that. If I am going to be out for a while, I like to have my tablet, (large) wallet, phone, keys, maybe a water bottle and an "emergency" umbrella. That could all fit in this bag! It also has more pockets than I 'understood' from the description. It has two "slip" pockets on either side of the zip portion (think a place you'd put a flat item, like your tablet/kindle or a notebook). Then one of those "slip pockets" also has two sewn in smaller pockets (here I could fit my iPhone 11 in one, and maybe some pens or small chapstick in the other). Then in the zippered portion, there is a small zipped pocket, where you might include your keys or other small items you don't want rolling around at the bottom of the bag. It's really cute, spacious, and functional! In my pictures you'll see the water bottle for comparison (its a 22 oz bottle, and it fits in the bag, laying down, with no issues; could also fit standing up, but wouldn't be able to zipper the bag shut). I also tried to show the side pockets but it's hard to see with black on black. I put my iPad (10") in the side pocket to show as well. Hope this is helpful if you are comparing for size!
