I got this journal as a gift from a friend and I ADORE it! Not only is it super stylish, but the pages are sturdy enough to have paint on them and the book lays flat open and is totally flat closed. the cover is a a standard hard cover book thickness with the texture of a sturdy fabric. it could be stained if you don't take care of it. The phrase on the front hasn't flaked or anything which happily surprised me, and as for the bookmarks, keep them where they are/use the one closest to where you need it and don't bunch them all together because thats not how they were intended to lay. take my word. but overall, I have no complaints about the quality or performance of this journal. 2 thumbs up!

Love how Kate Spade transformed the idea of a simple journal into something charming + fancy. The color is a gorgeous blush shade and the interior covers are lined with gold polka dots - too perfect! Great hardcover, thick pages and bright bookmarks make this a keeper. This edition has "Escape the Ordinary" printed on the front cover making it the ideal travel journal.

Product is a super cute, small journal. It fits into my purse easily and feels like it's going to hold up to the wear and tear I typically put my notebooks through. Paper is great quality and I've already gotten compliments on it! The only reason I rated it a four is because I was expecting a blush colored journal, but in real-life it's more of an off-white.
