This loafer was everything I had hoped for. While I did not want patent leather, I'm very happy with the look and feel of this healed loafer. The structural block heel has a unique edge to it and the look is reminiscent of Ferragamo with an edgy approach. Works well for business, with skirts, pants, jeans, anything. Very versatile. I braced myself for an uncomfortable breaking-in period - unnecessary! These shoes fit wonderfully and comfortably from the minute I put them on. I would definitely buy a smooth leather option in other colors. Very happy with my purchase.
