This is my favorite top and one of the most beautiful sweaters I've ever seen! I agree with the previous reviewer who referenced Beauty and the Beast -- it gives major princess and "ingenue" vibes for those who consider style essence when shopping. Beautifully made, high quality sweater -- one I plan to pull out each fall and winter for years to come. I typically wear a US size 10-12 (M-L). Because I'm large in the chest, sweaters that are too relaxed or loose tend to make me look bulky, so I usually choose M if I want sweaters to have more of a slim fit. The size M I purchased achieved the fitted look I was going for perfectly. Size L would have been perfect if I had wanted a roomier fit, so you can size up or down depending on fit preference. It is slightly cropped but long enough on my torso to be tucked in easily. I can't say enough wonderful things about this unique sweater and feel so beautiful wearing it!
