our story began when kate brosnahan spade, an accessories editor, was frustrated that she couldn't find a practical and playful purse anywhere in the market. so... she set out to design her own. she combined utilitarian shapes and colorful palettes in an entirely new way and launched with six versions of a bag called sam.

since then, our collection of designer handbags has grown quite a bit. now, our assortment of stylish purses includes roomy tote bags that fit everything. (we're not kidding! everything.) crossbody bags that look pretty while they keep your hands free. satchels for both business and pleasure. backpacks for work, travel, school and play. and so much more...
