a chic read: brand stylist brad goreski’s new book, born to be brad: my life and style, so far, hit bookstores last week and to celebrate, creative director deborah lloyd hosted an intimate dinner and cocktail party at the posh sunset tower hotel in los angeles. stars like jessica alba, mandy moore, minka kelly and ahna o’reilly, clad in pieces by kate spade new york, mingled with a few of our favorite west-coast editors and friends over steak frites and warm chocolate cake. on confetti-sprinkled tables, each setting winked at the stylist’s signature pieces—placecards were printed with a swanky bow tie and handheld masks topped with brad’s signature black specs made perfect photo props. during the dinner, our guest of honor took to twitter, telling fans that he was “having an amazing time with @jessicaalba, @mandymoore, @minkakelly and deborah lloyd at the dinner for born to be brad.” the evening ended on a sweet note: guests were treated to a copy of his new book, along with our “eat cake for breakfast” gia pouch.
