alexander mcqueen at the met

July 20, 2011  |   column: DELIBERATE POLISH

a big thank you to our friends at vogue who treated us to an afternoon at the met for a private viewing of savage beauty, the alexander mcqueen exhibition. we wandered through the galleries, stood captivated by the films and marveled at the fashion. afterwards, we headed to the mark where we compared notes over ginger margaritas, lychee raspberry bellinis and sweet strawberry royales. if you’re in new york, this is an exhibit that’s worth the wait (lines get long in the afternoon and on weekends)—and definitely one to catch before it closes on august 7th.
