take a spin around our newly opened flagship at highland village
March 07, 2014 | column: WHAT'S NEW
step into any one of our speciality shops and you’ll feel like you’ve just crossed the threshold of a whimsical apartment whose tenant just stepped out for a spin around the block—or a rousing round of cocktails. our store design team decorates each space with this very idea in mind, scattering flea market finds, curating custom salon walls and topping lacquer vanities with everything from perfume to peonies so no two stores are ever exactly alike.
when it comes to our flagships, we really love to pull out all the stops. (remember the opening of our three story townhouse on madison avenue?)
for our latest endeavor—at highland village, houston—we collaborated with local artists, designed custom brushed gold foil wallpaper and even rented two vintage taxis to tout the grand opening. (we got the only two left in the country: the rest of the fleet was on location at the mad men and boardwalk empire sets!)
