November 22, 2011  |   column: WHAT'S NEW|DELIBERATE POLISH

lights, camera, take action! everyone from uma thurman to christy turlington to former president bill clinton to our very own creative director deborah lloyd stepped out to show their support at this year’s women for women international awards gala at the museum of modern art in new york city, hosted by katie couric. we’re delighted that the organization—which helps women in war-torn countries rebuild their lives and whom we’ve partnered with for our hand in hand collection—honored former president clinton with the champion of peace award for his support for women and children in third world countries through the clinton global initiative. see photos from the star-studded red carpet above, and learn more about women for women international (along with how you can get involved) on their website, womenforwomen.org.
