paint me a photo

create digital watercolor prints (instantly!) with a new app called waterlogue

bet you’d never guess that this image, above, was a photo. it’s done with an app called waterlogue that lets you play picasso without having to pick up a paint brush.
after you download the app, upload a photo from your digital device, select a filter and watch as your image is transformed into an artistic watercolor-inspired sketch. then adjust colors, brightness and even brush stroke size. the results are really inspiring—and very realistic.
we like to think of it as an artful twist on an instagram—or mobile paint-by-numbers—and were inspired to give it a try after seeing the hazy floral patterns this month in our spring collection.
enjoy!
