winter doldrums invading? i escaped the city for an inspiration fix at the lovely DIA museum. a quick hour-and-a-half road trip brings one to the delightfully quaint town of beacon, new york where the former nabisco printing factory now houses some of the “most significant artists of the last half century,” to quote the museum itself. see works from artists like the ubiquitous richard serra and sol lewitt (a certain kate spade new york web designer’s hero).
