hello my name is: ashley parson

gig: kate spade new york visual manager

what that means: i’m in charge of creating the look and feel of our showrooms, and bringing all the furniture and props together for our stores. i also create all of the flower arrangements for pr-related happenings.

where my love of flowers stems from: my mom’s family owned a bunch of florists all over louisiana. we always had flowers in our house growing up.

my favorite kate spade new york moment was: when i took a trip out to palm springs to locally source the furniture and props for our shop in palm desert, california. i loved being able to support the local community, and it was great to see the artists react to seeing their creations come to life in our store at the opening party.

to me, floral prints are: feminine, a bit flirty, and just what i’m craving after the long winter.

you’ll always find me wearing my: ila heels! i’m only 5-feet tall, so I need all the help I can get.
