around our office, films are a frequent topic of conversation. especially vintage films, which then leads us to swoon over the beauty of vintage film posters. enter a book called soy cuba, it’s filled with a selection of  visually unique posters produced by artists in cuba, of films that played there from the 1950s-1970s. be it a foreign or domestic film, every movie had a specially-commissioned poster; every artist created something truly beautiful. each one is made via silkscreening—a process involving stencils and individual layers of colors.
