a touch of color

polish up with this bold (and easy!) manicure inspired by this month's collection
January 30, 2013  |   column: DELIBERATE POLISH

to fend off any hint of winter blues, we tried our hand at a multi-colored manicure earlier today–and it proved quite the marvelous pick-me-up.

the inspiration: this month’s playful palette of clotted cream, donovan yellow, bazooka pink, mint cream and roy blue.

to mimic the lovely hands you see here, choose your five color order and then paint each nail a different hue, working left to right across both hands starting with your pinky finger. (you want your left pinky and right thumb to be the same color).

then add very important final touch: a single sweep of black at the tips for an sophisticated and artful edge.
